My name is Herbert and I am a computational linguist, i.e. computer scientist and linguist in one person. I got a PhD in computer science from the University of Gothenburg. My research focused on the development of a language learning computer software which can be used for Latin. Currently I am living in Munich but work at the University of Hamburg as a researcher/software developer.
Besides my interest in computer science and linguistics I am interested in retrocomputing, photography, synthesizers, amateur radio and more.
